Banana & Blueberries Gut Friendly Smoothie Bowl

Nutrition Tip:

Blueberries are high in fibre and full of vitamin C, vitamin K and manganese. They also have the highest antioxidant capacity of all common fruits and veggies.

These antioxidants are called flavonoids and may help to improve your brain function and delay age-related cognitive decline.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Cooking Time: 5 minutes


Ingredients:

  • 1 banana

  • half a cup of frozen blueberries

  • 1 tbsp of nut butter of your choice

  • 3 tbsp of natural fermented yogurt (I use Yeo Valley)

Method:

  1. Blend all the ingredients together until nice and smooth.

    Toppings of your choice, I add my nutty granola for more fibre and omega-3.
